Reading – Podcast

I did a podcast about if tvs are good or bad.

First we divided our selfes into two teams. The good team and the bad. We resserched information about if tvs are good or bad. My team was the bad side so I found information why tvs are bad.

Next we wrote notes down to remeber what to say. I wrote down that we are going to be discussing whether TV is good or bad. I think tvs are bad because they include a chemical called Nitrogen trifluoride that can harm people.

Then we recorded our recording.

I enjoyed this activity because I did a podcast about if tvs are good or bad. I need to improve on talking louder. I did well at remebering our script.

Time

Time can be mesured in many units such as seconds, minutes, hours and many more. There are analog and digital.

To read a digital clock the small hand has to be on a hour division until it reaches another hour division for example if the hour is pointed to the 2 the hour is 2 and the large hand is the minutes. The minute division are in fives so if the hour is 2 and the minutes is 5 the time would be 2:05

Time can be mesured in many units.

Athletics Day

We did some sports on athletics day.

First we lined up on the court and got to our first station. Our first station was a high jump. It was really easy until they raised the bar. It started to get harder every time they raised the bar. We used scissors to jump over. To do scissor kick we have to run and jump with one leg and kick in the air to get over. We only had 20 minutes on each station.

Next we moved on to our next station. Our station was a long jump. It was easy because I just ran as fast as I could and jumped with one leg. I came in 2nd place.

Then we moved to our next station. Our station was shot put the shot put ball was very heavy. I knew that I could not throw the ball very far.

Then we moved to our next station. Our station was discuss. The discus were very light but I could not hold the discuss in my hand so it made it harder for me.

Lastly we moved on to sprints. I watched all the other racing. It was cool seeing all of the races. When it was my turn I ran as fast as I could.

I enjoyed this activity because We did some sports on athletics day. I need to improve on staying in my lane. I did well at jumping high for high jump.

Commenting

I learnt how to comment on people’s blogs.

First I learnt the main things to write on a blog post. For example: if I’m commenting on someone’s blog, I have to greet them, what I enjoyed about their blog post, what I learnt from their blog post, ask a question on their blog, and tell them your feedback for their blog.

Next I wrote my feedback. If they reply. I have to reply back to their comment. For example: I have to greet again, saying thank you for the reply, if you got another question, add the question, and add feedback for their reply.

I enjoyed this task because I enjoyed commenting to other people. I did well on greeting the person. I need to improve on asking better questions, and feedback for their work.

Marble Maze

We created a marble maze.

First we drew a practice maze to see how many traps and paths we could. I tried to make as many traps and paths.

Next we put that maze on a google slide so we change anything that was bad.

I think that my maze is pretty easy because there is not much good traps and there are easy paths to get from the start  to finish.

I enjoyed this activity because we created a marble maze. I need to improve on making a better maze. I did well at making good traps.

User Purpose Steakholder

First we found some facts about our topic tvs. We wrote notes so we could remember what to write down.

Next we wrote down those notes and put them on our google slide.

Then I learnt what a steakholder, user and purpose means. Steakholder means that a person creates something to invest to gain money, advertisment and many more. The user is who uses that product. the purpose is why that product was made.

I enjoyed this activity because I learnt what a user purpose and steakholder is. I need to improve on have a better understanding on what a user is. I did well at figuring out what a purpose is.

Timeline of Cars

Cars are a type of transport that can travel on land. They are used to travel people from place to place. The first car was made in 1769. It was powered by steam. It did’nt work for very long. It could only work for 10 mineutes. The 2 car that was invented was powered by gas. This could last for 1 – 3 hours.

There are many cars that have been had a new feture to the car for example. 2022 was the first car to be on auto pilot or in 2010 was the first car that had winged doors. winged doors are doors that open like a wing.

There are many cars the are not nessesary for example.  The most smallest car or the first flying car.

Cars are vehicles that can go on land.

TEE Paragragh

The TEE structure stands for topic sentence, Explain, Elaborate.

The topic sentence is for telling the reader what has happened. The explanation is for telling the reading what is happening while that main topic is more detailed. The elaborate is for adding more information and adding more detail. For example, my topic sentence is. The sun shone brightly, while the leaf was falling down.

My explanation paragraph is. The sun shined, while the leaf released from the tree. The leaf moved left and right.

My elaborate is. The frail leaf discarded from the stale curvy trunk. The leaf dropped, moving left and right It was weightless it looked like it was gliding smoothly threw to the ground.

The topic sentence is the main part. The explain adds more detail. The elaborate adds more information.
