LI: Exploring toys from the past
We explored toys from the past and what there purpose was. We started of by building a kart. We raced our carts at the end to determined who built it the best. An interesting fact about the cart is that young boys would build carts in their free time. They didn’t have much free time as it was taken up from school and house work. Then we explored butter churning. We sang a rhyme that helped us burn more time. The rhyme went churn butter churn (Name) is waiting at the gate waiting for some butter cake churn butter churn. Lastly we walked around and looked at the houses from 1840. The favourite house I went to was the church because It looks so different to a modern day church.
