PB4L Contract

LI: Students will learn how to look after equipment and property

During this activity, we discussed as a group on why should we look after equipment and how should we look after equipment. We looked at the different causes and effect to when we damaged property or lent something to someone and they broke it. How would something you gave to a friend and they broke it? Do you think they will pay for it? We also discussed on the special objects we lost that meant to us but not to others as they could sell it and think it’s just a wedding ring, or a necklace. We then created a fake contract that will allow us to take upon our ability to take care of our belongings.

Class Rules and Expectations Poster

LI: To follow the classroom rules and expectations (including wet day procedures)

This week we did a PB4L poster discussing about the Class Expectations and Rules and why they’re important to follow. This poster is also about respecting the teachers and pupils in the classroom. An example of this is to ask the wet day monitor to go to the toilet. It is important to follow these because the wet day monitors has to know where you are all the time.

I found this activity interesting because of all rules that people have to follow to keep safe.

Inclusive

I wrote a time where I included someone in my group.

First I got an understanding of what is inclusive. Inclusive is when someone adds someone to their group, party and chat. 

Next I learnt what the benefits of including someone is. The benefits are that it could help someone boost their confidence, they could make friends, and they could learn more things about them

Then I wrote down what I did to include someone in my group. I included someone in my group by giving the person a turn and letting him shoot the ball in the hoop.

Lastly I thought of something that I said to include someone into our group. I said, “hi what’s your name? would you like to play with us?”

I enjoyed this activity because I wrote a time where I included someone to my group. I did well at finding out a time when I included someone in a group. I need to improve on including more people in groups.

 

Uniform

We learnt what is the appropriate clothes to wear at school.

First we disscused what is the correct uniform for school.

The correct uniform is. Black shoes, gray polo shirt, gray shorts or skorts, black hair tie, blue mainfreight hat or LS2 cap and LS2 jackets.

The incorret uniform to wear is White Shoes, Any color shirt, any color socks, Any other coloured shorts or skorts, Red hair tie, Other colours and a Black Jacket.

I enjoyed this activity because I learnt what the corret uniform for school is. I need to improve on having the correct uniform on. I did well on what the correct uniform is.
