We learnt the meaning of a keyword. A keyword is a word that unlocks the meaning of a sentence.
First we read a book and found a few keywords.
Next we wrote down what happened, where it happened, when it happened and who was there. Then we wrote a 15 word summary with the keywords we found
Then we did the same thing for 4 pages.
I enjoyed this activity because we got to learn what a keyword is.
